Description:

The Bank Project supports young adults with learning disabilities to have a social life of their own choosing and supports them to maintain existing friendships and make new ones. There is a programme that is sent out every 3 months with different activities. Young people can either choose from this or can choose their own activities. Young people can take part in 2 activities each month. The types of activities that a young person can do include some regular activities such as lunches, bowling, and cinema. There are also extra activities which vary depending on the time of year. Every 3 month’s the young people and their families get an opportunity to feedback what activities they have enjoyed, not enjoyed and ideas for the future. This is used to help plan the next program.
